Patchwork Friends Quilt Guild Meeting

We learned a new technique last night at our quilt guild. This block is called the Ivy Twist and is a free download from Timeless Treasures. You manipulate the fabric after you sew the squares and rectangles. It was a fun technique to learn and as you can tell, I still need a little practice. We are going to use these block for the Quilts of Valor quilt to be donated to wounded soldiers.
Fun baby quilt that was finished for the upcoming baby.
Mystery quilt started at the Red Rooster quilt retreat a couple of weeks ago.
This quilt was made from fleece and upholstery fabric.

A rag quilt made of stash fabric.

Cute fall quilt made from a kit from Bernina. She's a new quilter, and did a fantastic job!!

Another sew kit finished from the quilt retreat from Red Rooster.

A journal cover made from scraps of the quilt project below.

Table runner also made from scraps from the quilt below.

Fun quilt made from blacks, whites and red.

Dolly's Day out quilt made from the paperdoll fabric from Windham. It has a pocket on the back to hold the dolly clothes.

Swap meet quilt put together from a guild quilt project a couple of years ago. Nice colors, huh?

Fun applique quilt with scalloped borders.

Wall hanging with the shabby chic flowers.

Landscape quilt. Makes me look forward to sunflowers.

Wall quilt made out of homespuns. Great look.

This beauty was donated to the Quilts of Valor. It was a quilt guild project a few years ago. Some lucky soldier is going to love this one.

This is our auction quilt all put together and quilted. We are going to have prarie points and then binding to finish. I love this one.

This was our block jack for this month. I love how the blocks turned out.
Hope you enjoyed our guild pictures. It was a fun evening and we all had a good time.
