Natalia Bonner and Kathleen Whiting from Piece N Quilt went to the quilt store, Suppose in Preston, ID on Saturday...I have followed Natalia's blog for about 5 years and she is one fabulous machine quilter...
She wrote the book, Beginners Guide to Free Motion Quilting and all of these quilts are from that book...
This quilt Orange Slices uses her spray starch applique method....I must give that a try...I had some questions and she answered all of them for me....

But, the lady on the left with the red top is her mother, Kathleen Whiting...after they showed these quilts, they showed 22 quilts from the book, One Block Modern Quilts which this mother/daughter team designed and wrote....what a fun time I had with this trunk show...

Your sampler will be so fun! Of course, that is what Lori designed it to be, isn't it? : )
Looks like a good time at suppose. I don't get up there for their events. I need to pay more attention to their emails.
